January 16-20: Quiksilver Wave Show. A free-ride surf and windsurfing competition at Galion Bay.
March 6-9: Heineken Regatta. 250 to 300 sailboats of all sizes race in a variety of classes, from cruising sailboats to the fastest racing boats.
March 2008: Quiksilver King of the Groms (KOTG). A surfing competition for those under 16 years old; winners can qualifiy for the KOTG world finals.
Mid-June: Billfish Tournament. A deep-sea fishing tournament on Marlin Boulevard, with the starting line at the Marina Fort Louis
November: The Course de l’Alliance. A regatta organized by Yacht Club Fort Louis between Saint Martin, Sint Maarten, Saint Barth, and Anguilla, with four days of racing for sailors and skippers primarily from these three islands.
